4. information on the tax concession and the current notice from the tax office

According to the certificate we received from the Kaufbeuren Tax Office for Corporations dated 27.8.2015, our work is classified as charitable within the meaning of the German Tax Code due to the promotion of the charitable, benevolent and ecclesiastical purposes specified in Section 52 of the German Tax Code. § Section 5 (1) no. 9 of the Corporation Tax Act with the purpose of promoting art and culture.

We are entitled to issue donation receipts in accordance with the officially prescribed form (§ Section 50 (1) EStDV ).

5. name and function of key decision-makers

Committees: Board of Directors and General Assembly

The Board of Directors works on a voluntary basis.
The reimbursement of outlays and expenses is permitted in accordance with the Articles of Association.

The Management Board consists of the board members Wolfgang Hauck and Conny Kurz.

They manage the business and represent the dieKunstBauStelle e.V., each acting as sole representative to the outside world.

The Board of Directors has divided up its areas of activity:


  • Wolfgang Hauck
    is primarily responsible for partnership building, project design and development, and overall strategy.
  • Conny Kurz is responsible for (image) editing, controlling and employees.

Together they regularly inform the General Meeting. They adopt the annual financial statements.

We confirm that the bodies that have to make binding decisions for our organization meet regularly and that the meetings are minuted. Inquiries to our organization are answered within a reasonable period of time. The annual financial statements are signed off by a named decision-maker of our organization.

6. activity report, annual accounts and yearbook

The association dieKunstBauStelle e.V. reports on its activities and operations in yearbooks and documentation.
These activities and results are explained in detail in our project descriptions.

The projects usually run for several years. The current projects are presented in the current 2014-2022 yearbook (as at April 2019).

7. personnel and employees

You can find an overview of our staff in the Team section. Our team consists of a network of experienced professional artists, photographers, musicians, painters, journalists, actors, dancers, educational specialists, theater and music teachers and volunteers. Our work is also supported by international volunteers and interns from schools and universities.

In accordance with the implementation of § 72 a SGB VIII on the protection of minors, all persons who supervise, look after, educate, train or have comparable contact with children and young people in our projects have submitted an extended certificate of good conduct to the Executive Board.

8. information on the source of funds

dieKunstBauStelle e.V. is financed primarily from three sources:

  • Project-related public subsidies and grants
  • Donations
  • Proceeds from special-purpose operations

9. information on the use of funds

Information on the use of funds can be found in the respective annual report. The profit and loss account is available for download as a profit and loss account.

The annual financial statements were presented to the auditors. They confirmed that the accounts were properly kept. The focus of the audit was on the existence and completeness of the reported income and the completeness of the expenses as well as the correct allocation to the projects, the non-material area, the commercial business operation and the special-purpose operation.
