President of the State Parliament Ilse Aigner assumes patronage

State Parliament President Ilse Aigner takes over patronage of the BayernHistoryApp

The President of the Bavarian State Parliament, Ilse Aigner, has taken over the patronage of the BayernHistoryApp. The free digital platform for Bavarian local history now comprises eight subject areas with over 1,800 contributions. It is operated by the association dieKunstBauStelle e. V. from Landsberg am Lech and has been available for iOS and Android since May 1, 2023.

Quote from Ilse Aigner, MdL, President of the Bavarian State Parliament (from the welcoming address)

“The variety of topics is impressive: from inns and breweries to churches and monasteries, railroad stations, art, music, crafts and landscapes. Different formats such as authentic eyewitness accounts, interactive tours and scientific articles convey the content in a varied way and appeal to users of all ages. Everyone can take something away from the BayernHistoryApp!”

Quote from Wolfgang Hauck, project manager and initiator

“Users don’t want to download individual stand-alone solutions, they want to use a central platform. This is exactly where the BayernHistoryApp comes into its own, because it offers a wide range of topics in one place.”
