CONTENT AND TOPICS

“Code 0-1-19” are digital experience spaces that tell stories from “traces” in the former railroad premises, the Augsburg Railway Park. The “traces” in the railroad premises are intended to inspire people to invent stories and design them as digital experiences with VR and 360° panoramic tours.

Experts from the fields of media design, theater and radio will accompany participants of all ages and work with them to create formats such as “sound installations”, “pixel hunting”, “storytelling” and “escape rooms”.

We can use the buildings and locomotives in the Augsburg Railway Park as an activity area. There we have halls, engine sheds and ancillary rooms at our disposal. There are many traces to be found in the buildings: Posters, timetables, graffiti, messages, keys, tools or broken windows and coffee cups.

We invite all age groups to invent stories using various formats and to experience digital storytelling in a completely new way. The “tracks” in the station are the “clues” for the plots.

These stories are incorporated into a 360° panorama as interactive, digital elements and offered for different target groups and requirements:

There will be audio, video, photos and texts produced by local people under the guidance of our speakers.

We offer three formats to choose from:

SOUND OF THE FORGE

For young people aged 12 and over. Here you search for sounds and play with the sounds of the forge yourself. In the end, it will be exciting to see what you discover and where the solution leads.

A multimedia project for music and sound design. Interactively and actively designed by the participants.

RIDE ON THE GLASS TRAIN:

Here, players will embark on a journey with the “Glass Train” on site. Dialogs and scenes can be used to create a virtual journey through art worlds and art spaces.

The participants decide where the journey will take them. We develop the staging of the various journeys according to the ideas and specifications.

Get on board, on site at the Bahnpark or online, and share your ideas with us!

PROCESS

  1. EXPLORING: October-November 2021: preparation, creating information materials, documenting “traces”
  2. IDEA COMPETITION: November 2021: competition announcement, workshops (technology, design, writing) with the contributors
  3. PRODUCING: November-December 2021: Producing the stories with sound, video, photo
  4. PRESENT: December 2021 to February 2022: Publication of 360° animations and virtual reality

OBJECTIVES

With the playful approach to creating stories, the station should be experienced and perceived as an exciting, mysterious place. The aim is to create a socio-cultural contact that nobody expects in this form and to show how changeable one’s own environment is. The latest digital presentations in the form of VR and 360° panoramas with audio contributions and videos will be created by the participating population themselves. This innovative framework is intended to symbolize the new departure.

DURATION

The project will run from October 2021 to February 2022.
The presentation will take place online and will continue to be available.

EVENTS

The exhibition and installation are due to be published in February 2022.
